A few years old now but this has been a prominent feature in German football training at the top level (nationally then domestically) for a while now.

BVB were the first club to adopt it and others have followed - Hoffenheim etc.

Thought I'd share this as there wasn't a thread on it and it's a useful bit of tech to enhance reaction times, control and passing. Vital ingredients in modern football.

Does anybody know if United have a similar set up? Feels like the type of thing that Louis would naturally adopt and analyse.

Looks great fun. I wonder how much it would cost to build one.

According to the internet one of these should set you back about $2.4 million so about £1.6 million. Money well spent for any football club in my opinion as its a great way to sharpen first touch and passing ability which are just some of the building blocks of any decent footballer.

A young George Best apparently built up his skills and his two-footedness by smacking a ball at a flight of stairs and using the mad spin, angles it sent it back at, to build his first touch and reactions. I saw a grown-up George Best practice by hitting the ball hard at a corner where two walls met, controlling the ball and immediately shooting at a numbered grid marked on the wall.

So there are low tech versions of that machine for anyone who fancies a bit of exercise.

HOW MUCH!??

I could knock up something similar with just a few of the ball shooting machines, a computer, some lights and a load of old wood. £10K tops.

If you need somebody to create the blueprint for it I know somebody who's good at paint professional architeture-esque services.

Just so you're aware; I charge by the hour and that includes my toilet breaks, of which I have many.
