For those that play the game on here (and it seems like there are a reasonable amount of us), the gold demo for the new game has been released, with six months of in-game playing time.

The main site is still being very slow, so head over to the forums at community.sigames.com and click on the demo thread to get the download links.

They've toned down the realistic side of the game then. I'll definetly get it though, and be addicted to it for 3 months straight leading into the January transfer window. :D

all the players hate me, even though im top and have won 7 out of 7! and yet they still hate me being in charge..

love the fact that at madrid asked for piq aswell as the £22mill....
 
It's nice, and I hear they have made it harder. I don't know about that, since I'm first in the PL after 10 or so games, but I do know that I haven't had a single clean sheet in a competitive match.

I also love the new feature where the scouting-report from FM07 is now used by your coaches for your own players, in case you don't cheat (with Genie). Though there's not a single player who Carlos claims is a very good prospect. There are a few who could turn into 'decent' players ("Good Premier League x"). Also, he told me that Nani is close to playing to his full potential...

That happened with me got Renato Augusto and Kerlon they can't play cause they have no work permit. What the feck is up with that its been of month since I bought them.
 
It has a release date of 26th October on Amazon, the same date as Pro evo 2008.
I hate it they when they come out about the same time as I only end up playing one or the other.

that was a pretty silly move, now you have to wait for them to play 75% of their countries games in a two year period and then reapply. and you can't do that since the demo only lasts till Christmas
