IMO No they certainly shouldn't though there could be exception. Football is fast turning in to an economy and in Five years it will be all about money and the smaller clubs will have died down, and the players have a contract which they can not postpone when they feel like it - thats a breach of contact and they should leave it to the chairmens and managers to make an assesment.
This is a stupid question, as all players have their own qualities and it could change at any moment, but for personal pleasure you would have to go for Beckham and Keane, they simbolize the whole game, great ambassadors for football.
Again, not a question you can put a definate answer on, though there are plenty of candidates. Pele and Maradona obviously rank pretty high, and it is a shame that we probably won't see another world beater like those
Though it can be contested, France without a doubt in my mind. They have won the World Cup and Euro 2000 in the past two tournaments which says it all. I can see Brazil showing chinks in their armour, although Argentina can challenge France.
Brazil for one or two reasons. I was tempted with Argentina but they haven't actually won all that much. Brazil get it becuase they have continually shown exciting football for all fans and made football what it is fun - while showing they can beat the best - technique wise anyway.
You can't split three teams : Real Madrid, Bayern Munchen and Manchester United certianly. They have been up there or thereabout for a long time now, and, though this season they maybe struggling in thier leagues, one of them have won the last 4 Champions Leagues.
Real for their host of stars and brilliant movement and record at home (Ditto for the others), Bayern for there organized patient approach to each game, and their defensive hard work, and Manchester United because they, like Brazil, show a host of terrific individuals who blend together and click in a way no other can.
Real Madrid, for no particular reason but they have won many trophies and always shown they can compete with the best, for about 40 odd years now.
Manchester Utd, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Liverpool (Barca and Liverpool but for dips in form in recent years) also get a mention.
Peter Schmeichel. Others may have been beter in the sheer Keeping department (Though not many), Schmeichel controlled his defence and the sole of the team all the way and stayed at the top for along time - quite simply inspirational as a captain.
If we are talking about recent ages then Nesta gets my vote - simply because he has that Italian class about him that is so cool on the ball - another Italian from the last decade, Paulo Maldini, also gets credit.
Midfeild is a funny thing, it has many differant areas so many that it is impossible to choose. If I had to pick one then Roy Keane (Again if we are talking past and present) becuase he has the lot, with Scholes, Veron, Beckham and Giggs also showing class.
Thierry Henry - he and Raul show that touch of genius which is phenomianal, and on their day can not be beaten.
I have to say the North Eastern fans in England (i.e. the Toon Army etc) for being so passionate and great supporters of the game - but for outrageousness, Italian fans can be very intimidating.
Stupid Question. All teams have fans who cheer on their players every week and show support, which is all they need.
Tough one, but I must say the San Siro, intimidating (Can wait to see how Ipswich handle it) atmosphere, packed arena and beautiful design.
Sir Alex Ferguson for reasons to many to fit on this page.
I am entrigued by every Barcelona and Inter Milan kit that comes out on the market, they swicth it around and have that European simpleness I like in a shirt.
Not now I support Manchester United.
Anyone, like the previous question, who would even consider doing this is wrong and a disgrace to society. Fans sometimes forget what they are there for and that is to make noise and support for their team, and encourage, not discourage them.
There are parts to a footballer I wouldn't want, like the thousands who watch your every move waiting for you to slip and the billions who you would meet wanting autographs and pictures. Paul Scholes definately.
Many goals good for different reasons. Beckham scoring from the Halfway line in 96 will be memorable becuase it was a truly great goal but also made people sit up and take notice of a talent in the making. Giggs vs Arsenal is another amazing strike, and so is Ronaldo's for PSV (?) When he drilled it in from the halfway. Too many to count on two hands.
You can look no further than Arsenal 1-2 Manchester United, terrific drama and it shaped a whole season of success.
David Beckham being the captain of a lifetime against Greece which could win him award after award and respect, lifting a whole nation single-handedly.
Realistically they will win the Premiership (Eventually ) and the FA Cup, while Quarter-Finalists in Europe.
 Manchester United.
Fanzines - you can feel the passion on each page and can tell they are real fans, not the stale programmes looking to make money. The fanzines tend to give a lot more laughter and support IMO.
