Redcafe FC, affectionately known as "The Caftards," is a dynamic football club deeply rooted in the heart of its community. I would like to have 1 Owner, 1 Manager and 5 Players. The Manager and players will have a choice if they would like to be tied to Redcafe FC for life or if they’d like to start there but be free to transfer in future.
In terms of the owner I think that the system Solius devised works quite well so I will be nicking some elements of it within this experiment!
Unlike that experiment, there will only be two periods where the owner can take action in terms of budget adjustments, signings and other actions.The Chairman:
I think a budget of 2 billion is fair for this experiment also. I have set the facilities all to 10, so there will be moments where you can take action for facilities to be upgraded. As with the previous experiment I think it will be good to have the chairman and manager to choose one signing each summer. This will be a joint decision between the manager and chairman involved in the experiment.
This is of course assuming that the manager does not leave/gets sacked, which the owner can choose to do at any point in the save if they want to. I think for fairness on that front, the manager each summer will get to look at the job list and decide to move to a different club. If this happens, I will assess the budget of whatever club that manager joins and then they can sign a player within that respective budget.
Again, with the other experiment, the signing made will be a player that is within 5CA of the best player at the club.
There can also be options to expand the stadium. Redcafe Arena starts with a capacity of 2197 and I’ve put the expansion capacity to max so it will probably naturally progress with the AI but you can also choose to do the same if you wish for a fee.
I think 5-10m for every 5000 seats seems fair and can progress as thus;
2.5m every 5000 seats from NLN to National League.
5m every 5000 seats from League 2 to League 1.
7.5m every 5000 seats in Championship.
10m every 5000 seats in PL.
