Has just logged in for the first time in a long while and now apparently has no posting rights or anything.

To be more specific he sent me this on facebook

i've just logged onto the caf for like the first time in a month and ive got no posting rights, or pm rights for that matter...can you get one of the mods onto it and start a thread in the admin?

I think that he has changed his email address and hasn't confirmed the change. An email will have been sent to the new email address with a clickable confirmation link. Either he has forgotten to check the new email address or the email got lost in spam filters.
