Duncan Fletcher will step down as England coach after their last World Cup match against West Indies on Saturday, the BBC understands.
Peter Moores, currently the England Academy coach, will take over on a temporary basis.

He will be in charge until the Schofield report, into the Ashes debacle and World Cup failure, is published in early May.

Fletcher had been England coach since 1999.

Was always going to happen!

Surprise he wasn't axed a long long time ago...the goitered big gland.

There's a press conference in a couple of hours. Is this when it will be announced?

This is when he'll take out a knife and surgically carve out his extra flesh and throw it on the mediapersons.Allegedly..

 @ 'Goitered big gland'.

Can't say I'm surprised; it was time for a change.

Aggers on the radio just said 'there was a spontaneous round of applause' when Fletcher announced his departure to the England squad. I don't think he meant it that way though.

Peter Moores or someone has been named as his replacement.

Fletch is better off getting out of the whole trip.

He doesn't want to end up strangled by a shady asian betting syndicate now, doe he ? :nervous:
