I think this has only happened since the last update of either firefox or adblock plus but all the buttons for starting threads and quoting threads have disappeared, only have the box at the bottom of the screen, the redcafe logo in the top left has also disappeared, disabled adblock for the site but make no difference, apart from showing me all the ads on the site.

Any ideas?

That's because you used the * sign after the RedCafe URL when you blocked the ads and thus blocked all Caf related images as well.

Open the adsense window when on the Caf and de-select it by clicking on the red cross.
