Did you see the report on planetfootball, figo wants to try the premiership before he retires and is tipped for a move to united after the world cup,

these rumours are getting crazier

<a href="http://www.planetfootball.com/Article.asp?ARTICLE=80621&Title=Real+fear+Figo+wants+United+move" target="_blank">http://www.planetfootball.com/Article.asp?ARTICLE=80621&Title=Real+fear+Figo+wants+United+move</a>

This rumour was on two years ago i think, i don't think it's true though, we already have enough in the middle, and by the way, he is old i think, 29 ?? no thanks although i like him.

figo would be nice cover for both gigs and beckham can lay both right & left

seriously i think he has a lot to offer any team without a zidane but looks to be overshadowed by the maestro

love to see him join mufc

real probably looking for silly money $50m

What's another midfielder going to do in our team? He's good, but we already have a man too much in our world class midfield in Veron. Figo in, means one of the big 5 out and that's impossible. (Fergie won't bench a 28 mil pound player, because that would be like admitting his expensive mistake). It's not good for our team.

Read the rumour again!

He's going to buy United out of his petty cash!

I don't think it will happen but it would be great to see him in a United shirt - he is one of the best players in the world. How about exchanging him for Veron?

The 29-year-old's buy-out clause is 30,000 million pesetas (£111.4 million), and he can leave if that fee is met<hr></blockquote>

So cheap, lets buy 2 of him....

 <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" /> <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />

United have no need for figo, i'm not surprised though, every player with any form of footballing aspirations want to play in the premiership, and the premiership to most if not all world class foreign players is characterised my united.(except for kluivert of course)

Its a compliment really, a reflection of our world stature, thanks figo but no thanks.

If Figo were to come Beckham would most definately leave. Figo wants to move away from Real Madrid, he was the superstar there, then Zidane came and took all his spotlight. After his move to Madrid he was considered the best player in the world by the fans, now its all Zidane, Zidane and Zidane.

awwww.... poor little RICH bastard!

We could play Becks in the middle and Figo on the right-so it doesn't have to be Becks :p

Very clever, but who would you want to leave?

Figo is getting on in years, I think he is thirty.

So who gets evicted, Beckham, Giggs, Keane, Scholes or Veron? To swap one of those for a has been would not be good business would it?
