The season finished about 10 days ago for League 1, he was back with us before then anyway because his loan deal expired at the end of April.

Brandao and Gill are the only one missing.
Might the be laving or busy with inernational/school?
Eikrem is also missing from Norways u-19s. Must be injured.

I wont be able to go unfortunately, but Binggi from the newbies will. In case he writes match reports, I'll post it here

Hope they're repeated a few times, I'm typically away that weekend.

if it is anything like the coverage of last years event, it will be on every week from then to the end of next season!

Damn.. I like an idiot have predicted for quite a few of them to be in the squad for the Hull match.. Speaking of Hull... Who is going to play LB against them? Fabio is injured, Eckersley is traveling, Evra & O'Shea should be rested.. Evans probably? or would SAF not risk him if Rio picks up another knock or doesn't get fit in time for the CL Final...

Highlights of the event will be on MUTV at 5.30 on Sunday May 31st.

Will someone Cap that?

They will all probably be back in Manchester on Friday, so there is still a chance one or two of them could be in the squad for the game against Hull.

Where are they traveling to? Zurich right?

Yep, Zurich.

We beat FC Blue Stars 2-0 in our opening game, goals from Brandy and King.

Team - Amos; Evans, Dudgeon, Wooton, Moffatt; Stewart, Norwood, Drinkwater, Brady (25. Ajose); Brandy, James

We drew 2-2 with Fenerbahce in the second game, no further details yet. Real Madrid have lost both their games so far interestingly.

Now I think about it, not sure how Josh King scored when he seemingly didn't take to the field of play...

Assume it was 451 and whoever compiled the lineups couldn't get their head around it.

Possebon and Brandy got the goals in the Fenerbahce game.

Team - Amos; Eckersley, Dudgeon, Evans, Brown; King, Ajose, Brady, Drinkwater; Possebon, Brandy

Rodrigo upfront now equally unlikely.

The other two games in our group have been draws so we're top at the minute, still early days though. A win against Basel (two draws so far) later would leave us very well-placed.

Flamengo have just won 1:0 with Fenerbahçe.

Injured? If so then how bad was it? If not then how did he play the next match?

They're only 40 minute matches, getting subbed off after 25 minutes doesn't mean an injury.

Ouch, a 5-1 defeat :/ Something must have gone seriously wrong there. Up against it to make the final now, need to beat Flamengo and hope results go our way....

So, we've got the answer.

Amos
Dudgeon, Brown, Evans, Eckersley
Possebon, James, Drinkwater, Brady
Brandy, King

Possebon scored in 18th minutes, so it was 1-1, but Brandy was sent off and we played with 10 men.

They had one more player, so they were probably running all the time and we couldn't cope with that.

That's why United conceded four goals after Brandy's red card on Basel goalkeeper.

Just noticed Josh King picked up his second yellow card of the tournament against Basel so both him and Brandy miss the Flamengo game.

Oh.. Thanks.. I was wondering why we had 3 matches in 1 day..

So, United drew and it's only third place. However, today's win wouldn't have given us second place.

5th Place Match
14:20 - Real Madrid v Manchester United

So, United drew and it's only third place. However, today's win wouldn't have given us second place.

Unless it was something like 4-0, true.

Should be an interesting game against Madrid, they've got a predominantly U17 side out there apparently.

They're very slow getting pictures up on the official site this year.

Team v Flamengo: Devlin; Moffatt, Evans, Eckersley, Dudgeon; Norwood, Possebon, James, Steward; Ajose(35.Brady), Morrison(30. Drinkwater)

Stewart got the goal on 20 mins. Apparently Devlin saved our bacon on several occasions but it's still a decent result considering our 2 main strikers were suspended.

He was.

Manchester United: Devlin; Moffatt (21. Brandy), Evans, Wootton, Dudgeon; Stewart, Drinkwater, James, Norwood; Morrison, Ajose.

Norwood, Possebon (must have been another sub presumably) and Brandy scored our penalties, Madrid missed all theirs.

Don't suppose you know if they actually missed them, or if Devlin made 3 fantastic saves do you?
