OK, so the majority of us will be purchasing/playing/borrowing a copy of fifa or pes at some point in the future. Now, thanks to EA Sports Worlds updated service, it is easier to upload your favourite goals to your profile online, for the world to see (in terms of fifa).

So, post away. At some point we will choose a goal of the month.

Just because it doesn't feel right starting a thread without an example, here is a beauty of a goal scored by me on UEFA Euro 2008.

Not bad. I was tempted by wellbeck. Some strikers seem incapable of finishing when you play them straight through on goal, very annoying. Top goal scorer as anderson on my be a pro..

Good though, keep the goals coming!

And I'm supposed to believe that's better than Pro Evo?! All you have to do is turn directly towards goal and you'll carve the opposition open?! And some of the other clips, it's just automated pinball stuff, every pass deadly accurate. That's either bad coding, or its far too easy to be extremely good

That camera view would completely do my head in too. I'm sure you can change it, but what a load of hassle

The chips are the least realistic simulation I've seen of a football in some time

But when I go to pick up my copy of Pro Evo, I'll find a shop that lets me have a crack, and i'll see if I have a different experience playing the game rather than watchin it

I scored a better chip than that online that I can only describe as 'sex'. I was running towards the corner of the box from outside the box at an angle and chipped it in the reverse direction and it floated right over the keeper. Was amazing, wish I could have saved it.

O yes, so you can. But I dont know how to upload them back up after.. where can I upload them with, to keep them on the net? Will youtube accept them?

Also, with them being in .FLV format, will there be many sites to upload it to that will run it? I have just downloaded a .flv for my laptop, wont run on anything else for me.

12-0:lol: you HAD to be playing that on ammateur* or the difficulty settings on fifa are worse than its cringeworthy (somewhat improved) gameplay. The ball physics look sooooooooo unrealistic on that pass.

*in which case any goal you score isn't all that.

WOW what a gimmic by EA this is. ENJOY YOU GUYS, I guess i'm going to have to settle for gameplay instead when pro comes out:(;)


ps Muller, how on earth will you know what difficulty settings the goals have been scored on and thus how can you judge the best goal:confused:

Shh eh?

Gimmick? Let go PES fan boy, let go. I know its hard, after all, PES was by far the better game in past years, but the time has come to accept defeat. The majority accepted it last year, but I suppose some are further in denial than others. Unfortunately, there just isn't much for you lot to pick at this year with FIFA, all of us who are actually playing it are extremely enjoying it, and think its solid. I have played pretty much every football game since Sensible Soccer on the megadrive, and I honestly think this is the best game since then. Being why most people will laugh when they read your spastic comment on how much of a gimmick this FIFA is, and how you cant wait for PES to come out for some realistic gameplay.

ANYWAY, I shall just choose what goals are the best, and let everyone else make up their own minds.. Now anyway, off you trot to the PES room to tell everyone how "bad" this FIFA is, and keep living your glory days when your beloved PES was actually better.

No I am on semi pro

that match was one where everything went in

that scoreline has however prompted me to go to the next difficulty up

is this going to become as retarded as the xbox v ps3 war

I didn't call the game a gimmick, if i wanted to do that I'd have done so in the official fifa 09 thread. No, I called this uploading your goals feature a gimmick.

Muller pro evo 2008 (on the next gen) was admittedly the worst in the series but its gameplay was still better than fifa's and if you deny that, then you're the one living in denial.

I've played the demo of fifa 09 and played fifa 08, I admit that the stadium atmosphere, commentating and graphics are far far better on fifa. The gameplay is somewhat improved but COME ON, you actually think it offers free flowing gameplay like ANY of the pro evos on the ps2 (its not even as free flowing as the worst pro evo to date on the next gen)? You still feel like you're stuck to the ground. The shooting is seriously unrealistic too (i was scoring long rangers for fun), being a game tester i thought you of all people wouldn't buy into this fifa propaganda. BTW i used to play fifa up untill fifa 2003, the 2004 version was dire and since then I've played pro evo.

Do you care about gameplay muller, if so why don't you buy the new pro evo on ps2 (going to wait and see the reviews it gets on the next gen before i get it), like I will be doing?
 
I love the new Fifa - Graphics, modes and yes, gameplay. Its a choice, and mine is FIFA, by a long long way. In every department.

thats because they have Pass assist ON in the options, you can turn it off so that passes only go where you aim them and as powerful as you hold the button down
 
Im shit at this game. Im struggling to win on World Class, and online my record is something like lost 6 won 2. Shocking! Im loving it.

Precisely. On the PS2! We're talking next gen gaming here. Pro Evo so far, has been utter shit on next gen. I presume you haven't play the Pes09 demo. Its even worse than 08. Fifa is now streets ahead of Pes in every aspect.

O and are you really saying fifa 03 was better than 04? Insane!
