Simple question would you play/buy a game which was essentially a new fifa game but dedicated to legends of the sport?

Using classic international and club teams (title winning teams).

Not sure if this has been planned before and it couldn't be done due to licensing but if it could would you be interested in it?, or would you rather it just stick to the current yearly update?

I've thought this before and i'm sure that if someone like EA picked up on it they could sell shit loads.

Or is this a stupid idea?
 
I'd buy it for £20 maybe, only if included past United teams though. I would not want it in place of the yearly FIFA though.
 
Yeah, i would if i still had a console gaming system.

EASports' Fifa 98's world cup game had a classic mode that allowed you to play World Cups as far back as the 1950s, with classic commentary, black and white, and all of it. It was fantastic.
 
As long as it had classic Reading teams in it, and Robin Friday was the best player on the game.
 
I would love for FIFA to have classic united teams. I miss being able to play with Keane.
 
I for one would love to play against Barcelona 2009 with the United treble winning side of 1999.

Those classic matches were great! Five across the top and all that.
 
Fifa 2000 had all the classic teams and Pro had the unlockable unlockable international ones.. which wasn't quite the same.
 
Only if everything about it was classic, old stadiums, worse pitches, olds kits and boots and all that.
 
I'd rather they included something like the Classic teams from Pro Evo in the actual game, but with more of them. So rather than having era teams you have an all-star team made of that club/country's all time legends.
