Fifa 10 PS3 Be A Pro Online Caftard Club

I just got this idea from the 5 aside thread in the general so credit goes to MickeyOwenIsRED for giving me the idea.

Anyone play be a pro club championship online? Let's make a team if so (we can carry it over to Fifa11) and go online with it. See how 10 individuals can play as a team!

We did have this before though, worked ok, but could never get numbrs to play regularly

Was great fun when we did it before. Although doesn't work so well when some people only care about scoring.

That is usually my thing, they never go all the way through though. Maybe the newfound boost of FIFA11 might sort that out.
 
Think we got as far as the final this year so it can be done. It was quite annoying that those two didn't just play the last game and I'd say they should possibly be banned from any competition this year. Think it was Ronaldo no.9 and RonaldoVII.

Banned??? What a load of shit, I tried to play the game but it's not my fault if RonaldoVII didn't play the game anymore.
 
I will be able to join from Fifa 11.

I have to ration my time better with Fifa this year, since I'm in the final year of my degree. I will probably cut down my time on 1v1 online, I always found the be a pro modes to me more enjoyable.

My FIFA 10 pro is almost maxed out....i only need 3 or 4 achievements for 100% and i like to play in my RL position of CB, which nobody else usually wants to play.

Your final was confirmed 7th May and you remained silent in the thread until June 8th when you said you'd forgotten about the tournament and it wasn't until July 13th you bothered trying to arrange the game itself. It's not upto me whether you're banned or not but the fact that you two couldn't get it sorted in two months is I'm sure annoying to the rest of us and especially Elvis who took the time to actually sort the tournament out in the first place.

Elvis pretty much lost interest in the tournament when he got knocked out.

Anyway Jacob knows I'm reliable because I helped alot with his tournaments trying to get people to play their games.
 
I understand your frustration Ivor and I agree to some extent. After all, I've had two really time consuming efforts gone to waste due to inactivity. Ronaldo No.9 is a good sport though and I could never ban him from one of my arrangments, I can't speak on Elvis' behalf though. I think their game died out mainly because of the creators disinterest in the tournament after he himself got knocked out. The creator needs to show the finalists that their game still matters to the rest of the lot, I'm thinking they might've thought that their game was useless and nobody cared. If we start the FIFA11 tournament sometime after the release the interest will be immense and people will be on their PS3 all day long, which will facilitate the progression of the tournament.

Having a RedCafe FIFA11 league could be the better option, this way we can still see who's the best of the caf and keep everbody involved all the way. Feels kind of unfair to be excluded after the first round in a tournament with no group stage.
 
A Redcafe league sounds good Jacob, as they're some top players on here so it will be quite competitive.

Also if we could get some of the old boys back ie: Dan, Pavan etc we should have a top quality club aswell.

Fair enough guys, just for the record no.9 you seem like a good egg and it was nothing personal against you, it just grinds my gears when these things fail so close to the end. Bit harsh to put blame on elvis though guys, when it's down to two players he really shouldn't need to get involved, plus it's elvis he probably got distracted by something shiny (or blonde and ugly in a party dress). Why don't we just blame RonaldoVII because he's not here ;)

A league is an interesting idea Jacob but didn't we try it before and not get very far? We did have group stages in last years tournament if you remember so everyone should have got approximately 10 games I think as we played everyone twice. Agree that it has to start pretty much straight after release which may throw up some shock results due to people not being as familiar with the game.

Everybody lost interest. I only made the final because the guy in the semis forfeited as he couldn't be arsed - something which I was going to do but he beat me to it. We can say I forfeited also if people are that desperate for someone to have won it.
 
We should include an additional rule for the tournament, if you forfeit a game or refuse to play it before a given date you'll get banned for a week from the forums :D No excuse is good enough really, except for being abroad perhaps.

Where's this myth come from that I couldn't be bothered? The thread was bumped plenty of times to tell them to play their games, and they didn't. More to the point it was the job of the two players to organise when they could play. They couldn't be arsed, so don't shift the blame onto me, you wankers.

Do you still have the game?

A half-hour game with a 4* team feels like a hassle but I hadn't realised the uproar caused by us not playing it :wenger:
