I hope this is true, about Fergie willing to splash the cash this summer, even going further than last years transfer fees, nearing £50 million. Also hearing that there could be a major changes how about this next year:

so going by your rough estimates you reckon the board will shell out between 74-84 million this summer??? R U Kemo in disguise?

also cant see us playing 3 at the back in any premiership match, we simply dont have the players to suit a wingback system.

Ayala = Possibly, if we dont get Rio or Nesta
Rivaldo = No

Last summers transfer expenditures were closer to 33m and not the 50m figure that some are throwing around. RVN was apparently bought off of the 2000 summer transfer budget.
 
And if you subtract the 16 mill for stam we actually shelled out about 12 mill from that years budget
