According to Bosnich who claims

"If the horse is great then it doesn't need a smart Jockey"

Who are you playing for these days Mark?

Bosnich is a fat cow. How could Fergie be tactically inept to drop a keeper who could not even handle corners. And what's this lie abot United having only the best players. The turth is our lads are just mor consistent. Imagine the skilld Gronkjaer, Zenden, Stanic, Petit and co have. If Fergie had Chelsee's team and defence would he still fail to win a league title? nah!

And now that he has the best palers on Earth should it change!!
nah!

\\feck the bastard!!

bosnich is a sour bastard who can't take the fact he was a fecking flop and couldn't make the grade at united. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

It wasn't just corners, he couldn't kick the ball either.

Bloody hell, I misread the heading there for a sec.
I thought it said Fergie is technically crap.
:D

I never liked that fat cnut, and hes a bitter kunt and all

He rater El Tel higher and look at all the succes hes had in football. He had a "horse" the size of Barcelona in the 80's and bever won the European cup with them.

Shut up and get back in the buffet line Bossie...maybe if you ask Yorkie you could start you're taxi cab business together, considering that neither of you play anymore...

Come on lads, this is the best goalie in the world talking. World player of the year. I say sack SAF now and get Bosnich in. It's our only chance of winning anything. I mean just look at his record.

Well I have to say that my uncle, who has been following United since the 50s, is involved with the game himself, and loves Fergie to bits, has said for years that he sometimes wonders about his tactics. And there have been many times when players have been played out of position, and it hasn't always been beneficial. Can't be denied that SAF has had a lot of luck at times.

I think a lot of Fergie's strength comes from shrewd buying/selling, and from the inspiration and motivation he gives players.

You can't say he has no tactics when you see how differently he makes play his team against Leeds, for example, and three days after against La Coruna...

I wouldn't say he had no tactics. But tbh I can see where Bosnich is coming from.

And  I just read the Bosnich article in the paper - and I hadn't seen it previously - and he said the same as me about motivation and spotting players. That's worrying.........

I wasn't speaking about you Livvie, I wrote "you" for the French "on", in general. Anyway me too I had doubts about his tactics last autumn, what I meant is that he has a deliberate tactics, because he can make play differently his team for the Premiership and the Champion's league.

So dear Markie is having a dig at Sir Alex under the guise of making `observations` about the fantastic man`s tactics.

Expensively assembled teams in Europe (and England) who don`t win consistently or don`t win medals show up Markie`s bullshit for what it is. A team can have all the talent in the world (look at some of the Italian teams for starters) but if they don`t have the help and motivation of a tactically astute manager they win jakshit.

Let`s not be confused here - Sir Alex is a mastermind at times in the tactics field. When things have gone astray it has been because he has been trying something new that perhaps the players could not adjust to quickly enough. His different formations this year have been attempts to give Manchester United a different kind of play that gets around predictability.

Just because it has not worked sometimes does not mean Sir Alex is tactically inept. There is a clear difference between his methods and those of the manager who is not good tactically.

Markie, as a fellow Aussie I say from the bottom of my hear - You`re a whinger and a wanker.

I think Fergie has developed and improved with time. He might have been tactically suspect in the past but today, he's on par with just about everyone out there, maybe except Hitzfeld and Cuper (tactically of course).

You just have to look at our 4-4-1-1 and how good it does at the moment to see just how brilliant he is.

Bosnich is a sad loser. He can't find a team anywhere in the premier league to let him play regular football. Now he only want to use some rubbish speech to attract the attention of the public so that they won't forget him.

Just taking Livvie's & Roy's points, I think our tactics were leaving a lot to be desired throughout 2001 and maybe that's what Pie Boy was referring to.

Losing Stam, Cole and (in effect) Yorke has forced SAF to look at his 4-4-2 options. Blanc's ability on the ball, Ole's regular inclusion, his physical game and workrate and varying the deployment of Giggs and Butt have made us a far more difficult and unpredictable proposition.

Can't say it's Fergie's fault for losing Cole and Yorke. But now it finally proved that his 4-4-1-1 formation is not wrong, just that Giggs should be played behind RVN instead of Scholes.

I would agree with that. And I suppose sometimes his tactics are a gamble that may or may not pay off - but it makes life interesting.

And Bosnich is probably speaking with more of a personal agenda anyway - destructive rather than constructive.

shame that Bozzi is so sad he has to drop to ken master-bates level of slagging of teams !!!

What pises me off about him is that he is not even 2nd choice at CHelsea

Atleast he won a League title at United...
