ALEX FERGUSON is set to sign Cameroon star Eric Djemba Djemba as he starts his Manchester United rebuilding plans.
The midfielder from Nantes will cost about £5million.
And the United boss will hope Djemba makes as much of an impact at Old Trafford as legend Eric Cantona did when he signed in 1992.
Fergie said recently he felt his midfield needed "reinvigorating".
United's scouts have been to watch him ELEVEN times this season in one of their most detailed studies of a player.
