Still waiting for his first tournament win. Destroyed by Mardy feckin Fish, 6-3 6-2.

Djokovic destroyed Nadal to move into the final.

whats happening with Federer? he's just not the same anymore.

just a question of time now for Nole to become no.1

It's not unheard of for Federer to lose in the minor tournaments. He goes out of them more often than you'd think.

It's Grand Slams where he really turns it on, and considering that we've only had one of those so far this year then I think it's a little early to be writing him off. The cream always rises to the top.

Djokovic wins another masters tournament and closes in on Nadal for the number 2 ranking. Federer lost early to another lucky smalltimer who's got the fortune to meet him during this weak period.

Both Nadal and Federer have more points to defend than him at Roland Garros and the soon-following season on grass (Nadal made the final at wimbledon, Federer's won it) as well.

Federer is recovering from glandular fever, anyone who has had it knows it can be months and months before you are fully recovered. He is just having a dip, I reckon he'll be back as good as ever.

Nadal's virtually unbeatable on clay

Off topic, but was it the last tournament when Djokovic was playing Federer and quit because he was losing, under the pretence of stomach pain or something? Found that disgraceful.

Why? When Djokovic retires from a game he is injured, because he's a fighter. Yesterday in the semifinals against Nadal he was down 5-2 in the 3rd set and Nadal was serving, they played between 15-20 Deuces or something like that in that game until Nadal eventually won it, he refused to loose. And as I can remember there were no breaks in that 2nd set in the Federer-Djokovic game so he wouldn't have quit if he wasn't injured because he knows he can beat him.

Why is the 3 time defending French open champion who has never lost a match at that tournament, has won 108 of 110 matches in clay being seeded second at the French open while Federer is seeded first ?

Just like in Hamburg, Nadal may have to beat Djokovic in the semi final and Federer in the final of the French open because of the seeding.

World sion-switz conspiration.

It is stupid how World Ranking = Seeds in tournaments.

Nadal should be the number 1 seed in Paris no doubt. Should be a great French open. Hopefully there will be more than a few upsets along the way.
