I've hardly watched anything else in weeks. The missus and Wibble Jnr are addicted (and I'm not much better) and all else falls by the wayside. 3 more series to go before normal service resumes.

So what have I missed?

N.B. Lost spoilers will be dealt with with extreme prejudice.

Don't get me wrong i loved it, and it kept me gripped right to the end. I shan't say why my feelings for it are now less enthusiastic.

The first season is brilliant though.

It's utter crap.

I may have formed this opinion in spite of never having watched it.

I never used to like it, I spot plot holes and things that don't make sense immedietly and announce them out loud and I didn't know where to start with lost originally.

*SPOILER REMOVED*

However, the missus forced me to watch it and even though I think some of the acting is terrible, I'm actually hooked on it. I am enjoying it despite the flaws and am coming to the end of Season 1, quite surprised with myself but I am enjoying it.

You only have to watch an advert to come to that conclusion man. My advice - dont bother yer arse even trying to watch it. Utter nonsense. The Island time-travels. As i said - utter nonsense... nonsense of utterness with a story-line that the monkey from Coco-pops wrote with his chocolate rice shite!

and the surgeon is actually a GP, optician, surgeon and the best all round doctor the world has ever seen.

I do enjoy it when I watch it, but when you reflect back on it a lot of it makes no sense. Then again I actually watched it and enjoyed it so go figure.

That spoiler has told me my opinion was well judged.

One of the best series there is.

Crap? Pft. Puh-lease!

I have deleted all spoiler without actually reading them.

So far all of the plot "holes" seem to get explained sooner or later. Of course it is unbelievable to some degree but it is great TV and so far is true to it's own fiction which is what you want from a sci-fi TV series IMO.

Don't let Spoony find this thread!

But yeah, fantastic show, my personal all time favourite. Theres fewer episodes after S3 incase you didn't know Wibble, only 14 for season 4 because it was written during the writers strike and 5 and 6 only have 16/17 episodes each compared to the usual 23ish

It's a show that I look back on and think "the feck was all that?", and wonder if I wasted 80-90 hours of my life, but then again, I also remember that there was no other show I looked forward to watching as much as Lost. Every morning after it aired I wanted to eh ... 'obtain' it as quickly as possible.

I watched the first 2 episodes and was not impressed.

My mate carried on watching the entire series and after it finally concluded he admitted that he wished he'd never started in the first place.

Wibble I'd say I've been here long enough to get a handle on what your basic beliefs and opinions tend to be (they're mostly right, by the way ;)). I can therefore tell you with great sadness that you will hate the ending to Lost :(

This is one of those shows that I forced myself to watch in attempt to "get" some of these shows that everyone watches.

It wasn't shite, in fact I sort of enjoyed it, but about halfway through the first series I got bored and never went back to it.

Same thing happened with Rome.

The Spoon Monster.

Anyway, I love it. It may not be perfect by any means but it has a place for me that no other TV show can replace because it was the first show I ever really immersed myself in. Love the characters and it has some superb moments.

You're mad.. Those first few episodes we're amongst the best TV i've ever seen.

My mate carried on watching the entire series and after it finally concluded he admitted that he wished he'd never started in the first place.

Spot on. The last 2 series in particular are comically poor. I can't believe i wasted so much time on that show!

I miss Lost

I dont at all, 1st 2 seasons are up there with some of the best TV I have seen. Loses its way big time and looking back at it now I really dont remember much of it with great fondness

best tv series ever! FACT

Sorry that was twin peaks  So good no one even cared that the title of it made it sound like a porno. Pity really the talent was there

Ah now, Rome is a genuinely amazing show.
