I think that will be the team but I really want us to play 442 as on tuesday we looked much better when we changed formation to 442. Personally i just want to see Carrick and Fletcher in midfield together not this push Fletcher to the wing business.

Berbs seems to be injured. He was having ice in his feet.

Anyway get the Treble upfront with Anderson/Giggs, Carrick and Fletcher in the middle.

Rio is back for this one with Vida, Oshea to RB, Evra fresh and back.

I was thinking about rooneys position and he might start on the wing to protect the fullback at the start. I think it's a real possibility

To be honest he's ineffective off the bench, which I think is why he didn't even see pine in the CL final last season.

If he doesn't play I doubt he even gets a role on the bench.

Not very confident to say the least. if weve got rio and vidic ill be more so. if were gonna play 451 rooney should be the main striker. if 433 roon, ron, tev should spearhead.

Possibly trying out 3 strikers in the Sunderland game as preparation for this one? Didn't work out too well though. I think Scholes is about to hit some form so would love to see him come on in the second half and steady the ship, assuming we don't need to bring on a more attacking option...
 
Carrick and Fletcher in the middle. Rooney up top, with Giggs in behind him. Ronaldo on one wing and have a hunch we might see Nani on the other. Probably wrong mind.
 
If Rio will play, we have some chance...

The defence can't be relied upon at the moment, we need at least one goals, so I think we should just absolutely go for it, use all the senior forwards and have Macheda on the bench. A high scoring game suits us great.
