I think it will be a good game playing in Basel. You seem to have a bit of a fortress there. Teams find it difficult to beat you in Basel, so it will be interesting.
We play much better European football that Liverpool too, so dont expect to be winning 3-0 at half time.

Im not gonna under estimate Basel, to be in the Champions League you have to be something - Will be a more than interesting game I'm sure!

ich hab am dienstag ne talkshow über den fcb im schweizer fernsehen gesehen. sind die tickets für die zweite cl-runde für die mk wirklich dreifach so teuer wie für nen normales nla-spiel? wieviel habt ihr in der ersten gruppenphase gezahlt?
gibts was neues wegen der rauchbombe gg. moskau? als erstes hat der verein doch glaub dem ganzen inferno mit nem stadionverbot gedroht, oder?

I would not underestimate Basel and Basel should not underestimate United.Basel has been doing well in CL play . While United has struggled in PL play, they are doing everything right in CL. Just can't carry it over to PL matches unfortunately. I would look for it to be close. 2-1, 1-1 or even 2-2 maybe.
Not so sure it will be a problem with Beckham,one of the Neville's and Rio being out. United is still a deep team. v Nistelrooy, Giggs, Scholes and really the whole lot of them. When they are clicking on all cylinders so to speak, they are hard to stop.

Sie sind nicht 3x so teuer aber sie sind einiges teuerer, für meine Tix hatte ich in der Vorrunde 33.--CHF/Spiel bezahlt (was ich extrem günstig find), für die jetzige Zwischenrunde kostet es 75.-CHF/Spiel (was ich die obere grenze finde) alles in allem finde ich die Preise ok, da wir für die Vorrunde wirklich sehr günstige preise hatten.
Wegen der Rauchbombe weiss ich nicht allzuviel aber ich denke der Gedrohte Verbot war nicht gegen Inferno gerichtet sondern gegen das Commando Leonhard (eine Gruppe die an diesem Spiel zum ersten mal aufgetreten ist). Auf jeden Fall habe ich nichts mehr gehört.

ich hätte verdammt gerne karten für das spiel gehabt. es war aussichtslos welche zu kriegen. ich habe jedoch verständnis dafür, dass basel die tickets an fcb jahreskarteninhaber und mitglieder verkaut, ist ja eingentlich auch richtig so. 75 CHF finde ich schon teuer, 1998 habe ich für bayern-united 50 oder 60 DM bezahlt.

Could take you from Stuttgart to Basle if you manage to get here, no problem.
Why is it actually, that Man Utd is currently more successful in the CL than in the Premiership? No motivation against small teams?
