I knew youse were a decent team as soon as you beat Celtic (who in turn proved their class by knocking Blackburn out). I didnt think youse would go this far though
I was impressed with youse the other night too, very well organised. Youse look like the weakest team on paper but i doubt it will be the case though. I imagine our games will be great high scoring ones, 2 suspect defences etc.
Sunderland: Pool were all over em, something like 20 shots on target compared to Sunderlands 0!
But thats Liverpool for you, top of the league in Novemeber, they get all excited, nervous and next thing you know their in the UEFA cup and falling down the table

I think that you have been a pleasant surprise. And you seem to be very good when playing at home. A bit of a fortress you have there.
Congratulations for knocking out Liverpool the way you did, you thoroughly deserved it.
You will find however that our European experience will make beating us/knocking us out far more difficult than against the other reds from the North West.

They probably did say that, yes, but they are disillusioned. They are scousers you see.
They said things like "you'll never beat Deportivo" last season when we played them in the Quarter final, but we did, and convincingly.
