So to give an example I’ll put forward Louis van Gaal at Ajax as he pretty much shaped the side that won the European Cup in 95 then narrowly lost the final the following year on penalties.
Obviously I’m factoring in he was competing with Serie A powerhouses of the period and Barca who he would later move to himself.
