Apologies if there's a thread like this around already, had a quick look but couldn't find anything.

What are your preferred teams from each of these countries, should you have one? Of course any reasoning would be welcomed.

England:
Spain:
Germany:
Italy:
France:
USA:

For me;

England: United
Spain: Bilbao
Germany: N/A
Italy: Juventus
France: Marseille
USA: Seattle Sounders

It seems I don't watch enough football to say.

England: United
Germany: Liked Dortmund under Klopp.
Spain: Changes from time to time. I guess Atletico last year was the only time I've genuinely cared about who wins La Liga.
Italy: feck knows. Haven't watched Serie A properly for ages. I've liked Juve and Milan in the past.
USA: Why is it even on this list?
France: Dunno

England: Obvious
Spain: Atletico
Italy: Juventus and AC Milan
Germany: Dortmund

England: Manchester United

Spain: Barcelona / Valencia. From Etoo Messi Henry Ronaldinho to Messi Neymar Suarez they have always had the most exciting attack. They also have spain's all time greatest midfielders with Iniesta and Xavi

Germany: Wolfsburg - When Malanda died, I don't know tbh I just had sympathy for them. I also like KDB in their team

Italy: Juventus - I like it that they have reached the champions league final signing all these players for very cheap deals and they could sell for 20-40 mil like Vidal, Pogba, Pirlo, Morata

France: Lyon. I remember just watching them to see Juninho take free kicks

USA: N/A

England:
Spain: Atletico
Germany: Anyone who can give Bayern some competition
Italy: Pirlo
France: Who watches this shit?
USA: ABLAG
Norway: Vålerenga

England: Arsenal. Love their football.
Germany: I used to really follow Werder Bremen but their decline made it tough to watch their games. I have a soft spot for Pep of course.
Italy: Milan. Again, they've been atrocious for a while now and I rarely watch their games anymore.

England: Us
Spain: Barcelona for the great games we've had against them, particularly in 99. The cheating is putting me off them though.
Germany: Munich, at a push. They were the first football shirt i ever owned for some reason. Think it was on sale somewhere.
Italy: AC Milan. Theyre the closest to us in that league for me. The likes of Maldini remind me of our crop.
France: Marseille, because Cantona came from there.
USA: Orlando because my mate's dad owns them. Otherwise no interest in MLS.

England: City
Spain: Villarreal
Germany: Dortmund
Italy: Inter & Sampdoria
France: Lyon
USA: NYCFC

England: United

Spain: In the 90s and up to Ronaldinho, it was Barca. Then Ruud v Nistelrooy moved there and I switched to Real, and then Ronnie moved there and Barca beat us twice, so now I'm quite firmly Real Madrid.

Germany: No real preference. Enjoy Bayern more than any other. We've had some titanic battles against them, so I always have that 'begrudging respect' for them.

Italy: Again, in the 90s - early 00s, that Juve team was full of players I adored. Serie A in the 90s was amazing. So many stars playing for so many different teams. Del Piero, Nedved, Davids, and Zidane made me a Juve fan, however. Nowadays, I have no real preference.

France: No real preference. Liked PSG when they had Ronaldinho. Since he left, I don't really care.

USA: lol

England: Manchester United
Gibraltar: Manchester United
Swaziland: Manchester United
Ugandan Prison League: Manchester United

A lot of this based on Football Manager:

England: Manchester United
Italy: Pro Vercelli
Scotland: Celtic
Ireland: Cork City
Germany: 1860 Munchen

England: Liverpool
Spain: Barcelona, from Ronaldo to Rivaldo to Ronaldinho and Messi, they've always had players I really like.
Germany: Gladbach. The two sons of Filip Daems (their former LB and captain for the last five years or so) play in the youth of my own football club and my parents are friends with his. We always get tickets if we want some, I've seen pretty much every big club in the Bundesliga thanks to them. The atmosphere in Borussia-park is brillant as well and it's only a two hour drive from where I live so.. Great team and delighted they'll be in the CL next season, although Daems left for a Belgian club one month ago so getting tickets will be very difficult next year, a shame really.
Italy: AS Roma since I was a kid, don't know why. Just like the club and its players, been to a couple of games as well, although their stadium sucks and is only sold out for the big games.
France: Don't really care, it used to be Lyon when they had the likes of Juninho, Benzema, Wiltord, Malouda and of course Houllier as a manager, but they've faded away in the last couple of years. Very happy they're back in the CL next year, but I don't really root for them anymore (Lacazette and Fékir are a joy to watch though).
USA: Who cares? I'll probably try to watch some Galaxy games next year though.

England: Manchester United
Sweden: Malmö FF

That's it really. Like the underdog otherwise (Atletico, Dortmund, Juve in the CL final, etc) and root a bit for whatever team Ibrahimovic plays for.

England: Man Utd
Spain:
Atletico Madrid
Germany: Bayern
Italy: Io sono uno giusto Milanista
France: Lyon

England: United. After United I like to watch Arsenal
Spain: Valencia, mainly because of Joaquin, always liked him
Germany: Werder Bremen but when Klopp took over Dortmund I jumped on the bandwagon.
Italy: Inter when they had both Ibra and Adriano but these days I tend to watch Roma.
France: Lyon
USA: Seattle Sounders

Spain: Valencia
Italy: Lazio, bellend fans aside
France: Lyon

England: Manchester United
Spain:
Real Madrid. I don't watch any other team and hate Barca. Also, I find their counter attacking style entertaining.
Germany: Dortmund but haven't watched them a lot lately.
Italy: None
France: Maybe Lyon whom I follow off and on.
USA: Vancouver Whitecaps (not exactly USA but MLS nonetheless) as I have been to the city and love the place.

England: United
Spain: Sevilla
Germany: St.Pauli
Netherlands: Ajax
Italy: Roma
France: Marseille
Portugal: Sporting
Turkey: Galatasaray (only because of a friend, probably wouldn't otherwise)
USA: Dunno really, maybe Seattle.

England: United
Spain: Atletico Madrid
Germany: Bayern Munchen
Netherlands: PSV
Italy: AS Roma
France: PSG, or should I say Zlatan?

England: United
Spain: Valencia
Germany: Bayern Munchen
Italy: Juventus
France: Lyon

England: United
Spain: Atletico
Germany: Dortmund
Italy: Juventus
France: Zlatan

England: Man Utd
Spain: Barcelona
Germany: Dortmund & St Pauli

Don't have any from any other leagues.

England: Manchester United
Spain: Anyone but Real Madrid. I watch Barcelona regularly and like alot of their players, but I wouldn't call myself a fan.
Germany: Dortmund, but I don't really watch Bundesliga.
Italy: Juventus. Classy club and had great players like Del Piero.
France: Nobody, but I watch PSG like once a month because I enjoy watching Zlatan play
USA: Toronto FC. Local club and I'm a season ticket holder.

England : Manchester United
Netherlands : hometown club Groningen
Italy : Roma (mostly because of Totti and their shirt is nice)
Germany : i liked HSV when van der Vaart was still able to run and made a difference but now i like watching Robben play

England: Stoke
France: Marseille
Italy: Milan
Germany: Dortmund
Spain: Real Madrid

England: Manchester United
Spain: Barcelona/Villarreal
Germany: Dortmund but don't really care about the Bundesliga
Italy: Changes every year. Roma, Juventus, Inter, Milan, Napoli, Fiorentina..
France: Nantes
USA: Not bothered.

England: United
Spain: Bilbao
Germany: Hoffenheim
Italy: Juventus
France: Cantona

USA: Beckham

I've always liked Juventus as they had some great players when I was growing up, I used to love watching Serie A games on channel 5, other than that I can't think of many. I liked Dortmund under Klopp and obviously support Athletico challenging the order of things in Spain but I rarely watch either team play.

England: Manchester United
Spain: Valencia
Germany: Bayern
Italy: Roma
France: Lyon
USA: eh?

Germany: Mainz
England: United

Those are the only two I really care about. In other countries I like teams for their style and/or having players I like, so it changes all the time.

Spain: This season I really enjoyed watching Sevilla. Barca in full flow are great too, obviously.
Italy: Lazio because they have Klose.
France: don't care
USA: care even less

Scotland: Aberdeen
England: Manchester United
Spain: None
Germany: None
Italy: None
France: None
USA: Don't know any teams.

England: United - obvious
Spain: Atletico - been a follower since 99, often go to the Calderon
Germany: Bayern or Wolfsburg. Although kind of liked Hamburg to.
Italy: Fiorentina
France: PSG
USA: I don't follow the league

England: Chelsea
Spain: I used to watch Madrid because Mourinho coached them, but now it's Atletico because of Simeone /Real Sociedad (Moyes!)
Germany: Schalke, been watching regularly since '09
Italy: None, but Inter was great to watch when Jose coached them.
France: Lyon but PSG has probably destroyed an semblance of competition
USA: Maybe the whitecaps
