1993-2003 is an obvious one as it coincided with arguably our most nostalgic period. But the last one does stand out also for how clean it is and the simple "Premier League" with no sponsor has a nice look.
Nostalgia of it being the only shirt I got with the arm patches, the Newton Heath green and gold throwback with Cantona 7 on it. The same shirt was in use when the patches changed but I remember the lighter shades of blue and green on mine. I might have actually got it over the summer just before they started putting the new patches on them.
I prefer the lighter shades even if the lion design isn't as good. No "TM" above the lion's tail is a slight plus as well.
Can easily dismiss those with Barclaycard or Barclays on it so we were down to 3 from the start.
17 years since it was called the premiership and you still get people who call the league it. Not really something that should annoy me, but it does. It's the important things in life that matter.
Saying that, the 2003/04 is the best. Reminds me of prem plus where it cost a quid a month on ntl to get the 5.30 prem game each weekend.
