Far cry is annoying me. And i'm over FPS games at the minute.

PC or console?
Fable is the tits mate. Although i've only played it for about 6 hours and i'm already married (twice) got a kid and i'm a master blacksmith and woodcutter that owns half of bowerstones shops and oakfields pub. And that's before i merged with my pub games character, only had 20k with that though.
Farcry i've heard is brilliant as well. My mate described it as a mix of Oblivion, for the open world, and metal gear because of the stealth aspects.
So it boils down to this, do you want to shoot the shit out of stuff in Africa? Or own a small business empire and kill bandits whilst dressed in a chicken suit?

Which console do you have? PS3 or XBOX 360? Do you play on the PC as well?
Because Fable 2 according to Wiki is only out on the XBOX 360!

decided to have a fifa sessionm instead though
but not even kidding the last 3 matches I have played, the other person has quit after the final whistle and I havent got the result
only results I seem to have are my losses, as every cnut quits straight after their matches when they lose, except me

I still think that they are porting the engine down. They would also have to do a lot of cutting back on certain things. Quite a bit of work would be involved to make it look respectable.
Got Fable last night, wasn't even sure what it was all about before renting, but there's been a bit of fuss about so I thought why not?

I think that the original was just way too ambitious for the time.
I'm thinking of getting far Cry on the PS3, but I'm wondering if it's going to be shite compared to the PC version...?
Fable 2 is bloody brilliant stuff. "Beaten" the main storyline but it seems to be a lot less than half of what the game really is about.
PC version has sharper textures and crisper image quality, but nothing that effects the gameplay apparently. If you have the specs then get it on PC, it should be a lot cheaper as well.

I didn't think it was possible to be anything but emotionally attatched to that game. It's brilliant!
Far Cry 2 was very disappointing, from a PC perspective. It played exactly like I can imagine it would on a console, except you don't use mouse and keyboard for a console, so it was all very sluggish. Several sloppy game design annoyances. Might feel better on a console, but that won't make the game itself any better.
It would be between Fable and Fallout 3....the latter isnt released yet so I'd wait abit. However if you push me for an answer then I'd say Fallout 3 since it looks like it'll give you more for your money's worth.
Just while we are on the F games.. just played a fracture demo, thought it was pretty good.

Indeed. Dunno, just thought the demo was orginal, well layed out, although the look of it did remind me of Mass Effect a bit too much.
