Had a guy from Apple come into work today to give us a spiel about how great Mac's are since we got a new shipment of iMac's and Macbooks.
He told us as of today, there is no Viruses for Mac OSX. He basically said every security scare that has come up has been dealt with and patched. He dismissed the "No one can be fecked writing viruses for a Mac" notion, saying because the Mac has it's security built in unlike Windows it saves memory and thus the OS from viruses. I was a tad skeptical and looked around the net but it genuinely seems as if all security issues for Mac's have been dealt with.
I just want the low down from someone that isn't an Apple employee before I tell everyone that comes in to the store "THERE ARE NO VIRUSES FOR A MAC!!!!"
