Could you explain how the Argentinian League works - Apertura, Clausura how do they relate? Also how do teams qualify for cup competitions, such as the Copa Mercosur and Copa Libertadores?
Before seba kills Suedesi (never say to a chilean that he is an argentinian! <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" /> ),
I can answer part of it: it's 19 matches for Apertura, and the same for Clausura. Like winning a Winter Premiership and then a Spring Premiership.

So you have two champions? Who qualifies for Libertadores? Mercosur? Who gets relegated? I heard theat the two sides with the worst coefficient of points from the previous three seasons go down instead of direct relegation... so you can have a team simultaneously challenging for the title, and battling relegation.
fecked up system. Producing some mad talent nevertheless.
