he had a good under 21 tourny and got called into the full squad for the wc

ive only seen him a few times and was outstanding but havent seen him enough times to juge properly

He's a highly rated young 19 yr old Portuguese CM who plays at Sporting at the moment. He's been linked to a move to Serie-A in the past. Haven't heard anything about him coming to England.
 
I heard he has been linked to Liverpool also and that Quiroz is trying to get him here. We're also linked to Martin Ferguson's highly-rated Portugese starlet Jorge Andrade the CB - who made an appearance today and should've helped out for that goal conceded. Maybe Quiroz will help us out with Andrade too???

I dont think Viana would suit our cut throat style, he has skill but he is slow as f__k - We need that money for other positions.
 
For me he seemed a younegr version of Rui costa. However we shall see what will pan out!
