You closed my Ronaldo thread which was causing heated debate, Why?
is it really that bad that you can't openly criticize any United player... God forbid it's the Golden child
 
I didn't close it because you were criticizing the player, but rather because the level of abuse in the thread was steadily increasing. You're free to continue criticizing the player and others are free to continue responding to your criticisms, so long as it doesn't spiral out of control.
 
For the use of the strong language on that particular thread i apologize but to be fair i didn't start cussing first..
 
No worries mate. Its a two way street. That's why threads need to occasionally be closed so they dont escalate in the wrong direction.
 
I never saw this thread, is it the reason behind the Remy one in the general?
 
I moved the Remy one to the general because it was really more about Remy than about United. The threads in the Gen tend to be more loosely moderated, which in turn allows more banter etc.
 
It was a shit thread that went on for 7 pages more than it should have.

There's a difference between being blinkered and not having a completely spastic view on something.

Plus the whole shit thread thing was just my opinion of course.

Although saying that i'm right most of the time.

Trouble is this isn't the first time i've dared to vent my spleen about Ronaldo...But the reaction this time round was 1000 times worse, make of that what you will
