Being banned is being banned. People are banned off of here without there being a real policy, unless you call disruptive behaviour a policy, because that just means pissing the wrong people off. Most people are banned for a reason over at RR, and there is usually a discussion over whether someone should be banned or not by the admins.

Righto, fair enough, and you're probably right I think. It's not for me to tell other people how to run their website anyway.

It does get rather irritating though, when hoards of people come over here, repeatedly, seemingly with no other intent than to tell people people how to run this one.

As I said with the PM thing, it is unfair, and a bit silly. The thing was, people were taking the piss, we told them to stop, and they took the piss some more, even after being warned again. So we decided we had to do something
This situation is far from ideal, as we've no easy way of proving who's doing what, so genuine posters end up getting affected.

All I can do really, at the moment, is apologise to those who may have been affected unfairly.
