I remember you were the fella who provided the large pic of Keano trying to twat Shearer this season...

I've lost that one, and now can't kin find one with a decent enough resolution to fill my screen...

It looks to me like he's flinching as is the natural reaction when someone aims a "blow" at you...

By watching the clip you'd see that he laughs after...whilst the "mighty" Beckham holds "psycho" Keane back...

I must admit I wouldn't have had Shearer's restraint and would have simply beaten Keane up..

That looks more like a jerking back of the head due to fear rather than a small flinch...

The 'smile' he makes afterwards looks more a sign of relief than Keane got sent off...

He laughed as he duped dopey Keane into seeing red, helping a Newcastle victory over the team he hates..

I disagree Davo...

Beckham is a big lad... I'd imagine if he was a bit tougher mentally he'd scare alot of people in the league... In fact, I reckon Beckham would knock you out...

But anyway, I think your take on the events at St James are clearly biased against Keano, when it was clear to everyone that Shearer was shitting his pants on the inside... Sure, he may have not legged it but fear is not easily hidden and I for one saw it on his ugly face...

Recently I read one of Marchings posts where he said he met Shearer and was told by him that if Keano wasn't being held back by Beckham he would have been halfway up the stand in the stadium... Take this up with Marching if you find it unconvincing...

I'd say judging by the relative success each of the players has had Shearer is probably quite miffed he never joing Keano and co when he had the chance... He probably would have been renowned worldwide for being one of the worlds great strikers, but unfortunately for him, he's ended up having a promising career hampered by playing within an inferior team... I feel sorry for him...

Oh well, United 10 - Shearer 0

Beckham a " big lad"...is he now? He looks a fairy to me...he'd knock me out would he? How do you know? I wouldn't have thought he'd be big enough to hold back a hard knock who was desperate to break free..

Shearer didn't look scared to me..I'm biased am I? And you're not when you're "celebrating" Keane making a tit of himself...I don't doubt Shearer made a joke of it when asked at Marching's thing..what would you expect him to do? Say how he wished Keane had managed to break free so he could have whacked the gobby twat?

Shearer is also on record many times as saying he didn't want to join you, but his home club instead. He has had a decent career and achieved his childhood dream....whilst enjoying great laughs at you lot along the way...I can still picure him pissing himself when they thrashed you 5-0. Do you think that this is all lies and that he really wishes he played for a club whose captain can't control himself when they lose?

I don't want our "hard men" to lash out...it shows how stupid they are...e.g. Keane..

So Keane didn't manage to achieve "what most fans want" but got red carded and laughed at by a victorious Shearer...amazing

Gerrard puts Keane in his pocket when we play you, thats all I want from him...he doesn't have to beat Keane up and get banned..

Shearer got just what he played for that day...Keane sent off. The sad thing is that Keane was daft enough to fall for it - it is also true that Shearer did turn MU down, twice apparently, and put more importance into playing for his home town club.

I have asked many of my mates why anybody would put winning silverware before playing for the Toon and they just say it's something a non-geordie will never understand.

I think it might apply to Scousers too...they have a pride in playing for their home town club and it means such a lot to them to pull the shirt on they first wore as a kid.
