Is it considered bad form to tell people about a website im involved in and post a link? Its not random spam and is a free service concerning music and djs.

Sure, you would just put that in the 'Admin/Mod' Forum at the bottom of the page.

If you do want to do that, make sure you delete this thread so it won't look like you are spamming.

I expect if the site is as you have described, it should be fine. But it's best to get approval before posting it, rather then being accused of advertising.
