Yeah i finished the first one about 2 days ago, took me a while to find it. I've actually heard of it before I just knew it as the dark materials books.
The Lion of Senet by jennifer fallon is the first in the trilogy. Most people know the demon child trilogy but trust me the lion of senet series is one of the most gripping I have read. Brilliant read from start to finish, the character involvment and plot twists are superb.
