If we sell Bowyer, that clears the ammount required....other players that go will release further funds.

Simple really.

I don't expect you to understand this.

;)

No

Because the Scousers said they had the best talent from Croatia, and Leeds looked at him and relaised that if that's the best talent from that country, this Rapic fella must be utter shite ;)

Depends on how much you sell Bowyer for dunnit? No bids so far are there?

I'm just waiting to see which of your players ( at least 4) are sacrificed...

These Mancs seem confident re the Rio transfer eh?

;)

When the talk of the squad shrinking by 4 I don't think they had any idea that millions could be raised on Bowyer/Dacourt so maybe money is not as tight as it first appeared.

I still think it will be 4 fringe players that go.

Rio is going nowhere.

I'm just going by what your chairman said...you obviously believe what he says re Ferdinand..

How much do you think you'll get for Bowyer?

I have also heard what Rio has said on the subject of leaving Leeds.

12-15 million for Bow.

So if Bowyer goes, and you get some cut price replacement..you think 4 fringe players will also go?

Where do you think you'll finish in the table next season?

I have always though some fringe players would go and nothing has happened to change my mind....Wilcox, Dubes, Milosevic, Burns, Harte/Kelly, McPhail......

I expect us to finish top 4.

Do you still think Dacourt will go? Or that Bowyer will be the only big name casualty? If, of course, anyone buys him...

I reckon you'll struggle to make the top 4

The club would rather lose Ollie than Bowyer and I hope nobody buys Bowyer.

Only one big name will go.

With a more focused season ahead and hopefully the likes of Smith and Mills playing more games I don't see why a top 4 spot is not attainable.

What do you expect of your lot?

If no one buys him he'll go for nothing, not good for a club in your situation..

If Bowyer does stay for another season then you'll surely need to sell someone else now?

I expect us to finish top 3, which I feel will be made up of us, Arse and the Mancs

Rapaic is 28 years old...heading for 29. He was cheaper before the world cup but but not worth nearly 7 million at that age.

Leeds have said all along they will reduce the squad by 4 because they 26 squad members due to overcompensating in case the two idiots went to jail. They didn't, one is now wanting to leave so it complicates it a bit but I expect Bowyer will go.

If he goes on a free at the end of the day he only cost Leeds 2.6 million. Yes, they could have made a profit on him but think of the legal fees they'll save. He still has to sit out 12 months to get that free and he would not like that at all.

But considering Arsenal may well be without both Pires and Ljungerg for the start of the season I see a move to London on the cards for Bowyer...which is what he has wanted all along anyway.

Duberry, Kelly, McPhail and possibly Keane will go depending on whether Michael Bridges stays fit. I would rather Fowler go than Keane but that is unlikely to happen.

If you have read reports Leeds debt is secured in a 25 year bond and they have voluntarily vowed to make a 15 million transfer profit to clear the transfer deficit they made last season and reduce the wage bill now the court case is over.

There is not the panic the tabloids are inventing to sell newspapers and certainly not a rush to sell their most marketable and wanted player Rio Ferdinand. For some reason the press loves torturing Leeds fans but if I beleived everything I read Leeds would have no team next season at all so obviously all the rumours aren't right.

I don't think Ferdinand will go myself..would be a very strange move, and you'd have to really in the shit financially to approve it..

I also don't think you could afford to let Bowyer rot in the reserves, if he stays I think you'd play him. It doesn't matter how much he cost years ago, he is now a 10m+ player and if he goes for free it will be a big blow for you..

A 15m transfer profit, and 4 off the wage bill...going to be an interesting summer for you lot

This Croatian.

Is he as world class as Biscan? <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Bowyer won't go for more than 8m if you ask me.
