I believe Giggs has not been doing 'Giggs stuff' simply because they make the risk of him being injured all that much large. Hopefully when we can afford to take the chance, and have more players fit, he'll be able to do all the twists and turns that are Giggs.
As I've said in another thread. Under-estimate Giggs at your own risk. He is still the rare type of player who can ignite a game with a flash of pure flair and brilliance. In Deportivo match he tore their defence time after time, and finally even excel on the left back 
Fantastic game tonight from giggsy, back to his best.
Somebody was suggested to give Giggsy a rest in Deportivo match in the forum. Luckily, he's playing last night. Great game from Giggsy and we saw the Ryan Giggs "The Genius" Wing Wizard again. Bravo Giggsy.
giggzy has knockers?
Giggs has always played well against deportivo. When we lost 2-1 at Riazor, he had a one on one chance (when we were 1 up) to put the game away AND MISSED IT.
When we lost 3-2 at OT, he dribbled half of thir team, passed the ball to Ruud to score his first CL goal.
When we won 2-0 at raizor, he had 2-3 grat chances, AND HE MISSED THEM ALL including an empty goal
When we beat them 3-2 at OT he scored a goal with a great drible into their box.
As you can see, he's a great player, but it takes him many chances to score, so I really don't know what to think about him. He's good when it comes to assists, but not goals. SAF was right to put him on the left. He's not the hole player.
That said, go on Giggsy and score a het-trick against them next time <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

TBH, I haven't heard the commentators complimented Giggs in so long... But he deserved all that today IMO.. He looked so smooth breaking down Depor's defences.. Could have been 5-1 this game..
Well, he mentioned himself a long time back that he especially enjoyed playing on European nights... due to a technical fact that the pitch is more watered or slippery (don't they do that in daytime too?!?!)...so that he can really run at the defenders...

One game doesn't constitute Giggsy's back. Lets seem him string some performances together, then get excited. Yes it was great to see, but the jury is still out.
