Elder Scolls Oblivion is a massive game, many hours of gameplay and customization.
Assassin's Creed is pretty cool (I've only just played it for a couple of days)
I liked Ninja Gaiden Sigma.
Found Resistance: Fall of Man to be contrived, fps games are becoming like porn.
You could always get FIFA.

Ghost Recon 2 is good and imo a better two player game than Resistance
Excellent choice. The campaign mode is short but incredibly good. If you will be playing online this is the game for you!
