How was the gig mate?

Been reading some reviews of the earlier gigs on this current tour and all I'll say is that they haven't been favourable at all.

I hope your experience was better.
 
I thought it was fecking wicked mate, seriously. I couldn't fault it to be honest. I was a bit sceptical also after reading some mediocre reviews.

By the way, Ashcroft's got a silly new haircut, but don't let that put you off.

8/10 from me

Not really in the mood for it though, had a shitty day today, so hopefully they can make it better.

We got there at 8, we were held up in traffic, and they were already on.

I'd say be there for 730. Verve were on at 9

Evening franco.

The gig was excellent, much better than I was expecting after the reviews I mentioned above.

The band were on form, sounded tight, and Ashcrofts voice was excellent.

The only negative would be that the crowd were slightly muted, a bit like Anfield when the cameras aren't there.

But apart from that, all in all a fine night, great to see them back together and looking like they were enjoying themselves too.
