FAO Americans: Anyone going to Bonnaroo?

I wish I'd seen Metallica in their hey day, they're a bit shit now I think.

Saw Metallica at Reading festival in 2003, never a big fan, but pretty much all their songs sound the same after about 10 minutes live. Good crowd, but disappointing performance.

I have high hopes from their next album. They're working with Rick Rubin, I think he'll remind them exactly what made them so good.

I've given up on having any hopes for Metallica albums now, sad because I still love there earlier efforts.

I saw Metallica when they were in their pomp, and they were sensational. Sadly, they disappeared up their own arses some time ago

you have a job now, you can support yourself.

and besides I wouldn't pay for you to go to bonerland or whatever it is. if you want to go to some kind of "where the boys aren't 26" festival I may be inclined to offer you my financial support, provided you take lots of pictures of hot girl-on-girl action for me and marcos..

My brother-in-law went to Bonnaroo last year. Got so drunk the first night he got lost and din't find his way back until the 3rd day. Even the cops were looking for him....

Apparently, some hippees found him passed out in the middle of one of the campgrounds and fed him for an entire day because he had no idea where his tent was...
