Just came across this. It teaches you how to do a fan test and clean the dust inside of your ps3 without opening it up.

It won't work. It only works on the 40gb version, unless you originally bought the 40gb one and replaced the hdd with something else.

Christ, it sounds like a hoover when it's on full speed. I suppose it would do though considering its size.

Yea its pretty loud, but after its done the ps3 does seem to run quieter.

True it should be I messed around a lil with me own ps3 but had no joy in getting it to test the fan.

That's nothing guys. My 360 does this test and cleaning procedure every time I play a game. Match that PS3!

DOn't really trust the 60GB to be honest. How much damage does dust actually do?
