Let's get this one started sooner rather then later shall we? Gives us PLENTY of time to organize a draft we all agree on, and can get numbers.

It would be perfect for a league of 12 but Last year I ran a 8 team league and it was a great success.

Any interest? If we can get some inital i'll get the league started.

feck it, here's the league info:

Red Cafe Basketball
pass: redcafe09

I have the draft tent. slated for October 25th, pretty much nearly the latest I can, until we get numbers.

Whatever do you mean mate?

My roommate and I were planning on drafting an all-white team in one of our leagues just to see how we'd perform with that sort of handicap. Also to see what sort of stats we'd win every week and see if it coincides with any stereotypes. Now that I think about it, it would probably be funnier if we did it in a public league where nobody knew what we were doing rather than a serious private league.

Is Anderson boasting about his team in here too? Cause that's all he ever does in the fantasy hockey thread :D

 That is CLASSIC !!!

Well feel free mate, I mean, there are enough good white players to at least have a team that could contend on a weekly basis.

I firmly believe that drafting with any restrictions that prevent you from drafting best player available heavily cripples your team, because you'll end up reaching to draft certain players much higher than they should be drafted.

Limiting to white players will be heavily restrictive, so even though there's plenty of good white players, we'll end up having to reach for a lot of them to pass on plenty of more qualified black players. Not to mention a lot of opponents won't catch on so they might end up drafting white players that we may be targeting so we're not necessarily going to end up with the 15 best white players in the league.
