Film Fantastic Four: First Steps

Released July 2025.

Doesn't look terrible but am I the only one getting very tired seeing Pedro Pascal pop up in seemingly everything? Not a bad actor but he is very very one dimensional IMHO and seriously ...why does Hollywood have these hard-ons for just having flavors of the month and trying to put them in as many different genres as they can?

The acting talent is there. The concept is intriguing. All they need is a really good script honestly. Won't take much to blend them into the present day in one of the Avengers Movies.

Yeah he’s everywhere at the moment

Intriguing casting choices (well the rest of them anyway) at least. Not sure what I think of it but I very much doubt I’ll be going to the cine to watch this.

Money.

Looks more comic booky (in an Apple TV way) than some of Marvel's other dirge. Screams of a stream watch, if even.

I haven't been interested in anything marvel since endgame but that trailer actually looks good. Like the retro vibe they've gone for.

Interesting they didn't show Reeds stretchy powers. There's no way they change his powers right? I know the CGI for stretchy appendages must be difficult

Strangely looking forward to this.
Hopefully recreates the classic FF Galactus Jack Kirby story

I thought he was great in Narcos, but has appeared a little one dimensional since then. Seems like a proper nice fella though, so if someone is gonna be popping up in everything, I'd rather it was a guy like him instead of someone like, I dunno, James Woods.

Never really been interested in Fantastic Four, but it has a pretty solid cast, so I'll probably give a go when it's streaming.
