FA Cup 24/25 | 3rd round: 9th-13th January

If there's one thing you can say about Spurs, it's that they are exceptionally Spursy.

if there was still replay would have been amazing for these Tamworth lads and the club.

Unfortunate

They would have no chance of winning though. The accountants would definitely prefer the replay but the fans would surely prefer the chance of the greatest moment in their club’s history if they can hold on and sneak a goal or penalty win.

Winning also gives the chance of another big payday.

Omg, imagine if it goes to penalties and Werner misses the crucial one. Bet his goes out for a throw.

Tottenham escape into extra time by the skin of their teeth.

Adrenaline makes you make wrong decisions sometimes. Square the ball and it’s a historic win

For the supposed best league in the world, there are some proper bang average teams in the Premier League, and I absolutely include United among them. Teams like Spurs making an absolute meal of a tie against non-league opposition seems to happen quite often these days.

Wish it went straight to pens.

Kulusevski and Son surely too strong to not score for 30 mins.

It'll be a painful irony for an Australian manager to lose to a club that has the same name as a city in Australia.

Tamworth is 4 and a half hours north of Sydney.

Ange is gone if Tottenham don't win this match.

Bluddy amazing for Tamworth to hold Spurs for this long. I can just see Spurs having virtually all of the ball now and Tamworth putting everyone behind the ball and holding for pens.

This is tenuous at best.

Does anybody remember what league Exeter were in when we drew 0-0 against them?
Conference - near the top, I think they just missed out on play offs that season. And it should be added that we fielded a really weakened side in that game: Howard, Phil Neville, Brown, Pique, Spector,Eagles (Ronaldo 63), Djemba-Djemba, Jones, Miller (Scholes 63),Bellion (Smith 76), Richardson

Pretty sure you also drew 0-0 to Burton when they were non league.

Thanks, I remember the team being fairly dreadful. Was a horrible game to watch
