FA Cup 24/25 | 3rd round: 9th-13th January

Too many high balls from spurs, they need to keep the passing on the ground

I went to this ground to watch Walsall play a pre season game in July. It has a slope aswell although apparently become more level since they put artificial turf in.

This is an entertaining game
I assume Tamworth do not usually have digital advertising boards at their ground...who pays for this ITV?
FA?

Spurs look shite.

Come on Tamworth! At least they’re up for it but they do look gassed coming off for half time there. Think things might unravel in the 2nd half.

Still a pretty strong team Spurs have put out.

Even he's been guff. Loads of Spurs players that think they're world class and they're pants.

To be fair to him, nobody around him is giving him anything to work with. There's no movement, no speed, no width, no hold up play. It's all being played at one slow speed. He's trying to speed things up but he's playing with either younger, inexperienced players, or players who don't offer a lot.

It's a National League team.

Doesn't matter who he is playing, he still can't take on all 11 by himself.

Spurs have such a weird squad.
There are times though that he's messed up too, but I meant more that there's no excuse for any Spurs players today. Even the younger ones like Mikey Moore should be doing far better.

Oh aye, 100% agree. The players have to be giving so much more than they are. They're being too passive. There's too much of an expectation that a goal will come from somewhere rather than actively pushing for it.

Whatever happens today, Tamworth have done themselves proud. Haven't just sat back and let Spurs camp outside the box. They've taken the game to them. Kudos.
