FA Cup 24/25 | 4th round: 7th-11th February

You have to question why the BBC put this on broadcast tv rather than one of the other games.

City are doing this on purpose because of the United connection. They'd usually switch off and play the game out.

Who thought it was a good idea to show Man City at home to Salford? not like any neutrals want to see City in action anyway.

How nice of the FA to let City get used to playing teams from League 2, to prepare them for next season.

Not that the concept of cup draws is new to me, but it’s a bit annoying that we’re away to arsenal while city and Liverpool are playing Salford and Accrington Stanley

It's the usual utter pointlessness of putting the Prem giants on tv however much of a walkover their game is.
We can't really moan as our games are always on, even when we get a league 2 minnow.

That city football stadium experience is really cringe
The commentary whenever they score
The advertising hoarding
The light show and songs

It is annoying.
But remember we had about 30 home draws out of 32 in cup competitions until recently

Should up the age limit to get tattoos. O'Reilly only 19 but has two arms full of shit tattoos.

City vs United old boys, potential giant killing (went well)

I'm assuming that's why

Yep.
I remember some appalling stuff i'd wear at that age. Imagine if your teen choices were permanently burnt onto your skin!

City just can't go easy on anyone, can they. What a disgusting , shitty little club they are.

Probably because it's owned by ex United players, so they wanted to humiliate then.

Bunch of cheating cnuts. If it hadn't been for winning the lottery and cheating, they'd be playing in the same division as them.

Nope but Phil & Gary Neville, Scholes, Beckham Giggs and Butt owe 10 percent each while peter lim owns the other 40 percent
Red Nev bought out Lim's share last year (2024). Was Beckham at the game or is he a sleeping partner?

Commentator on MOTD at Anfield just couldn't resist two milk references couldn't he

Proper 80s feel to this, terraces packed behind both goals, loads of tinfoil FA cups, goal net broken already.

Jaz Singh the Tamworth keeper been a big hero for them in their cup run. Works as a chartered surveyor in Sutton Coldfield where I live.

Tamworth nearly score after 30 seconds....:lol::lol:

Games like this are why the cup is still quality.
not sure i agree any more. the football calendar is more packed than ever. player burn out is a real concern. injuries are piling up, and fans are almost getting fatigued with all the football. and then we’re wasting team’s time by forcing them to play pointless cup ties against crap teams that they’ll easily beat. who knows how this might derail tamworth’s season.

This is a fantastic tie, Tamrowth are actually the better team so far!

Spurs have the biggest collection of players who are good but really shit at the same time.

Tamworth lad on the left is finding nice pockets of space around their midfield and he's a decent ball carrier which is what you need if you're playing a prem team as you will get space on the break.
