FA Cup 24/25 | 3rd round: 9th-13th January

I'm sure VAR would have added so much to this game. Even more so if the ref could have expressed his opinion on tannoy.

Funny that all villas attempts come in the 2nd half and they ended up with more than WH

Danny Ings is similar to Casemiro, he's totally finished body wise.
He has his uses if Michael Oliver is on VAR and you need someone to dive in the opposition's box. They brought him on in a game vs Wolves a couple of weeks later and he tried the same trick.

What is the "cold" celebration about? I'm not cool enough to understand it.

Don't know why Rogers made it his thing. Palmer copied him/did it as a tribute to him as they're best mates from their time together in City's youth team.

Speaking of cold, wouldn't be surprised if a few cup games are off today at the smaller stadiums. Bitterly cold overnight.

Edit: Mind you, just looked at the fixtures. Hardly any games due to take place at grounds where you'd think they might not have undersoil heating. Loads of PL or former PL clubs at home. Not the most exciting draw.

Out of interest: What does a player in league two make on a monthly basis?

So annoyed that almost every big club got a league1/2 team and we got freaking Arsenal away in the 3rd round

I think League 2 is more like 2k/week.

It gets distorted a bit by PL players on loan deals (being paid mostly by the PL club) and the odd big wage being paid by a promotion contender.
Yeah, they asked per month so that would be 8k, no? :D

Commentator (of TAA goal): "A reminder of his quality"

Mate:
a) it's Accrington Stanley
b) no-one questions his attacking credentials it's the other end which is the question

Just noticed on the Liverpool kit all the lines on the front are different on each shirt.
