I've absoluntely f***ing had it with microsoft. I had many problems with my xbox 360 but i couldn't take it back to the shop becuase the warranty had run out but when I found out that microsoft were extending the warranty for "ring of death" problems to 3 years I sent it off imediately to have it repaired(because the towel trick stopped working). So I receive my "repaired" 360 and within 2 weeks it breaks again. So I decides to give them another chance by sending it off again. When I got it back it worked well for around a week and then the disc-tray won't open:mad::mad:.

So I've phoned their customer service and told them that I had bought a ps3 and Wii that I was very happy with and that they should learn a thing or two from nintendo and sony about reliabillty.

I've decided to smash up my 360 and film it, so if I need to I can put it on youtube.

Now I'm happily playing Motorstorm and resistance even though I do miss the xbox live experience.

Anyone else's 360 pissed them off as much as mine has?
 
Yes. Mine did and I sent it back. Worked perfectly ever since.

So far 360 - 1 Broken.
PS3 - Not broken but many damn faults which I might have to get repaired.
Wii - 1 semi-broken.

All three consoles have basically broken in their first year.

Wankers the lot of them, Sony Nintendo and Microsoft.

Yes, smashing up your console and posting it on youtube should really hit them where it hurts.

No, send it back you muppet. That causes them far more inconvenience than just smashing it up. What are you going to lose by constantly sending it back? Nout. And if you kick off enough you can get some sort of compensation as a way of an apology.

well I did on the phone but they didn't agree to give me anything in compensation.

Then ask to speak to a manager. and if he refuses you anything ask for his boss and so on and so forth. Trust me if you have had to send your xbox back that many times, you are due something. With companies like this its a case of he who shouts loudest gets compensation, not he who has been the worst treated.

So, you've made the switch now. It's a shame you have lost LIVE in the process though, that's my main attraction to the 360 along with some of the exclusives.

Lol yeah but the lure of Halo 3 and compensation might be too strong for me, not to try one more time.

No Smashed, I wouldn't ignore you! I haven't been on LIVE for some stupid amount of months. Infact, I haven't even turned on the 360 or PS3 for months now, I don't even see my parents at home anymore. Recently, I've been going out or going to my friends every day and I haven't played my 360 for so long it's ridiculous.

I know that when Pro and Halo 3 come out I will be back on it so when that happens I will be playing you constantly!

I have 2 brother and friends who play the games quite often. I personally haven't been on my own 360 for more months then I can remember. It logs into LIVE as soon as it's turned on doesn't it?
 
Even that doesn't sound right.

I wasn't online, but the 360 signed in to my profile because someone had turned it on.
 
The only person off this place I have gamed with is Ret, and to be fair hes a bit rubbish.

Yes it does, which is highly annoying. I've fecked the msn thing on it off though, that no longer signs me in every time i go on live.

Meh. You should of seen me today, not been on it in a few days as i've been quite ill and i couldn't walk straight on it let alone shoot straight.

Yeah, thats how I play. I started playing it on single player the other day. I keep getting confused with the 'put the silencer on' button and the 'lob a grenade' button.

It makes playing it extremely difficult.

I think when i click the big X button it's under personal settings, took me ages to find.

Single player is quite easy, a few levels are a bit of a twat but overall it's pretty easy. No idea how you get silencer and grenade mixed up mind.

Well to be fair I don't actually know any of the buttons. I tried telling my team to shoot on sight, as they were just standing there getting killed, and I ended up blowing them all up.

On another note, is flatout the single most frusstratingly annoying game ever?

X is for silencer and single fire and Y is to change weapon. Get smoke grenades as they can't see you then and they just sit there waiting to be shot. Never played Flatout, just bought Stuntman which is a very cool game.
