if anyone has been used in this whole veron thing it has been veron himself,
lazio (cragnotti) wanted to cash in incase veron got banned and now that he isnt banned he is pinning for him to return,
im sick to death of all this veron going to lazio crap, veron is happy at united , happy at ot, he is supposed to be having some trouble adjusting to life in manchester, but that is hardly suprising, during spells in spain and argentina , the poor bloke probably never knew what rain looked like :)
cragnotti is a C**T all he does is stir up crap and try to make people unsettled, he is trying to make veron think that he wants him back but UTD wont sell him,. rubbish. UTD should come out and say you can have veron back for 100 million and that will be the end of that.
sorry im a bit pissed off over the whole thing, ...phew...deep breaths.....my hands are shaking..... oh my head......thump..............................

Have to agree with your point of view. Cragnotti should really feck off at this stage. He is getting boring and tiresome. Leave JSV alone.

Like I've said before, Veron will go for alot more than 28 million pounds. The only reasons United got him on the cheap were his passport problems in Italy and Real Madrid already forked out 48 million on Zidane.

I'm not taking sides, but if Veron continues his inconsistency and performances like Sunday's at Charlton become the norm, then there is no way SAF will not sell him. I'm sure Veron will star at the WC this summer with Argentina. And I believe if he does, United could get around 50,000 pounds for him. And that sum will be difficult to turn down if he hasn't melded into United team. All things are possible.

I think Fergie's right on this one...its in Cragnotti's interest to keep the Veron returning to Lazio story running...and running....
It is a smokescreen...Lazio can't afford Veron, have no intention of buying him...but the fans from the blue half of Rome don't want to hear this from an underfire chairman.

Veron hasn't yet settled at OT, but when you've got a two-faced shit-stirrer like Cragnotti pushing his Pinochio Roman nose in where it's not wanted it's hardly surprising.

Look SAF will never sell Veron (the board might, but not SAF) - enough said.

If any of you want to argue about this point - think about it before you do, because otherwise...

There is no doubt that the guy is class. But like me, Fergie values one thing about his players more than anything and thats heart.

I dont care how much skill a player has, if his heart isnt in it, then he shouldnt be here.

If Veron's heart is not in it, Fergie will offload him in an instant, especially if it means we can get plenty of money for Mexes, Cisse, Hofland, D'Allesandro etc etc.

Personally I hope Veron is here for the long haul. It is nice to see a player who can really show passion for the game and his club, albeit his club is Lazio. Maybe he will grow to like Man Utd just as much, he was only at Lazio 2 years after all. If not then he should at least be here not only in body but in heart and mind also and play his best.

This set of fans demand that from a player as does the manager. We CAN be patient and we WILL be with Veron, as we have done with other slow starters, but if its a case of non-starter we will be glad to see the back of him and Fergie will sell.

Come on Juan, show the world what you're made of man!

What I meant was is unless something is totally wrong SAF will never admit a mistake! He's a stubborn so and so is SAF. And that means Veron will not go at the end of this season, and will probably prove all of his doubters wrong next season.

If Veron has a great world cup though............ that's a different money type story, which is why I said it wont be SAF who sells him if that happens, but the board. In such a case will SAF be happy that he had nothing to do with the decision to sell and not gain any ciritisism for the whole affair, or will he chuck one of his wobblers with the board for sticking their noses in where they shouldn't stick them?

I know what you mean, but I think its really annoying when people call Fergie stubborn. He isnt necessarily the most stubborn manager around is he?

Just yesterday I heard him say he made a mistake, maybe he even said it twice in one sentence.

He was talking about announcing his retirement. He just makes a decision and gives it a chance rathar than rushes out to fix it Real Madrid style.

Anyway pointless debate.
