'Extras' is not a new show; it has been out for a while. Are you saying there is a new season out? I'd be chuffed if he's making season 3 because I thoroughly enjoyed the first two. 
its alright, not great or anything but Gervais never really is
i really enjoyed it mate, some were a lot better than others. some of the episodes would have a lot of jokes about british tv programmes that might fly over the heads of anyone who's not familiar with them. there has been 2 series made and Gervais said he may do a special like he did with the ofice to wrap up the story.
mt favourite episode was the one in the second series where he got in trouble for insulting the handicapped kid before getting in a fight with a midget. half way through series 2 i think

He is filming the two episodes which will air this xmas. No more episodes are planned. So it's two series' and two specials, just like The Office.
I thought it was quality. The one with Les Dennis had me in stitches.

Keith Chegwin was brilliant as well
they were the 2 funnist guest stars, really took the piss out of themselves
