Ok guys, im putting a custom team together to play a mate with an average rating of 80.

We do this for every game as it keeps it relatively fair and fun to make the teams.

My question to you guys, in your experience of the game, who plays above their rating and who is just awesome.

Obviously i have got dibs on postal because he is just fecking immense in this game

any others?

Rb: Mendy (he's awesome, bastard) - 72

LM: Barnetta - 79
CM: Nasri - 82

As you can probably tell, he a gooner.

So true. Just find guys with 90+ speed/accel.

Other stats are not so important. You can run anyone into the ground with a speedster team.
 
SWP whats he rated?

In the demo the toronto team (i think it was tornto, whatever the MLS team was) had a freaking speedster right or left back. Stick him in. Probably only rated 70 overall.
 
i'll have a look.

I know in all the old fifas you just got a quick bastard, USA in fifa 07 were siiiiiick for this.

but the new one, i dunno, there is alot on the touch now. Scholes is pretty good at passing on this games, i play alot of through balls for players to run onto, so some quick bastards up front might be good, with some good passers in the middle.

are there any midfielders with good engines and good passing?
 
Can you create a custom team on Fifa? Or are you just putting all the players into a real team?

We used to do this on Pro Evo with about 4 or 5 of us, and start a league. We didn't put limits on how good the players could be though, we literally took it in turns picking the best players one by one.
 
you used to be able to make a custom team on 07, but now you take over a team and swap the players round. Its the same difference.

Come on guys, this is united pride im talking about here, we are about evenly matched, im more erratic though. I rip him a new one with postal though.
 
Crouch is only a 76 or something. Needles to say he's handy to have in the oppositions box.

Average rating: 80 (80.454545 to be exact)

Very fast team with a solid midfield, pace on the wings, fast fullbacks, reliable CB's. I personally think the GK hardly makes a difference in games.

i like the look of that, but i might squeeze a cm down a bit to get someone better than defoe.

Unfortunately i was a couple of points over so "it didnt count wah wah"

(he is DEFiNITELY a gooner)

so im probably going to change torres, might swap dos santos for nani, change micah and bosingwa.

Ivanovic is quality.

:eek: They will walk past defences. Abgonlahor is the most overrated player on the game.
