So looks like we will get:
Mount
Onana
Hojland (probably)

Several on the way out.

What are you thinking?

I can't see us getting more than 80/85 points to be honest. So max 2nd, maybe 3rd. On top of that maybe another trophy? QF of the Champions League? Can we achieve higher than this? I feel I'm being optimistic here too. We could also have a disaster! No trophies and 5-8th place is definitely a possibility.
 
And look, it's another Andy Cole poster responding! Is this a thing?
 
IF (not remotely convinced that we will) we get Hojlund then we would be in contention for top four. I would expect us to fight for (probably 4th) a top four spot with Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle and maybe Chelsea if they get their act together.

If we'd got Kim and Kane then we'd be guaranteed top 4 and looking at maybe even 2nd if we really gelled.

We might be able to get a cup final or two again two if we get decent draws, but I definitely don't think we've strengthened nearly enough tbh. Replaced a good goalkeeper (with obvious deficiencies) for one who might be better, or who might not be good enough. Replaced a good Midfielder who is struggling to finish matches with a similar level midfielder who is more fit, and hopefully added a young striker who might eventually be very good. That's a marginal improvement at best while other teams have strengthened heavily.
 
Hot, cold, "next year is our year" and "we're just 2-3 signings away from challenging"
