Expanding the Entertainment Forum

I know Nick has mentioned this once before to try and have a Travel (At least I think it was travel) forum, but is there any chance of adding a couple of sub-forums and re-naming the Entertainment Forum to enable a more wide-range of threads?

I know Niall doesn't like the idea of a lot of forums, which I agree with as I have seen some forums and you can be scrolling down the page for 5 minutes with a forum for every possible subject in the world, which would be horrible to see on here. But a couple of extra sub-forums I think would work well.

Plus it would stop the Current Events forum from getting cluttered with Threads that aren't Current Events, but if you want a serious debate about something that seems to be the only place you can post where you are going to get it.

Just a thought, can't hurt to try now can it?
 
I dont get what you're asking - Do you want to sub-categorise the entertainment forum or essentially create a 'serious' version of general chat?
 
I suppose you could say a 'serious' version of General things, such as history, travel, philosophy etc.

Basically things that don't cover Current Events.
 
I'd say history and philosophy would definitely fit into the Current Events forum as it stands, they're not current events as such but maybe the forum is a slight misnomer as half the stuff discussed in there isn't a current event. Travel probably slots better into the Entertainment forum. Maybe the 3 as they exist should be renamed General Forum, Travel & Leisure, News and Serious Debate.

Aye, that's a better suggestion actually. I was thinking of sub-forums for the simple reason that it would be easier to navigate and find what you want.
